Bi-Monthly Supervisor Strategy Sessions

This is a strategy meeting that takes place every other week wherein all supervisors (Librarians, LA3s, and Student Supervisor) meet to review time-off requests, arrange coverage for people who are out, and determine the priorities of the department so that time and other resources are allocated towards the most important common goals.

Monthly Checklist

Monthly Department Meeting

On the first Monday of the month (or other day in the first week of the month, if necessary), the entire department comes together for the following general agenda:

  • announcements from the Department Head
  • discuss business of the department
  • give personal reports

Personal Reports should include:

  • report of months activities
  • status reports of special projects
  • request for help or training if needed
  • celebration of completes projects
  • plans for future projects
  • other question, concerns, and announcements

The personal report will feed into the annual Performance Appraisal.
