Use Google Scholar to Track Research

Google Scholar searches a vast amount of information to provide users with records of research. Just like with any search engine or database, Google Scholar does not search 100% of the world's digital information, but it is another good tool to use when tracking research.

Track Researchers/Authors in Google Scholar

Search for an author's name and select the "Follow" button on the top left of their profile page to follow new articles by the author, new citations to this author, and/or new articles related to the author's research. On an author's profile page, you can view a list of publications and citation metrics. You can also set up your own Scholar Profile for other researchers to discover your work.
