Mrs. Marybelle Jones Herron, daughter of A. B. Jones and granddaughter of A. W. Jones, donates MCFI memorabilia, catalogues, record books, diplomas, correspondence, newspaper clippings, commencement invitations, and recital programs to Lambuth College.

Ruth Marr, former head of the Education Department, joins the library staff as assistant librarian - the library has become too large for one librarian.
