Beginning of the Euzelian Society of the MCFI, which maintained the same library previously operated by the Young Ladies Lyceum.

Mention of the MCFI library as one of the best libraries in Tennessee in the 1874-75 Catalog of the Memphis Conference Female Institute – this library might have derived from the Euzelian Society’s library.
