In honor of Black History Month, explore this selection of titles highlighting Black Joy!

With constant access to Black stories rooted in trauma, struggle, and injustice - it can become common to associate these experiences with Blackness in America, yet there is so much joy embodied in freedom!

Black Joy means "focusing on the successes and accomplishments of Black people of all backgrounds by capturing their triumphs and celebrating them, despite living in a world that was built on the oppression of their skin. Black people are leaders, scientist, doctors, innovators, entertainers, and so much more. Black Joy represents continuing to rise despite hardships faced in the past and still today!"
