Arkansas Delta Music

Arkansas Delta music is known for its deep blues/gospel
roots but is set apart from the rest of the Mississippi Delta
music by a heavier influence of country music and R&B elements. Arkansas blues musicians have influenced every genre of blues, including ragtime, hokum, country blues, Delta blues, boogie-woogie, jump blues, Chicago blues, and blues-rock.
