University of Memphis' Center for Research on Women (CROW)
Established in 1982, CROW's approach to research, theory, and programming emphasizes the structural relationships among race, class, gender, and sexuality, particularly in the U.S. South and among women of color. An interdisciplinary unit within the College of Arts and Sciences, the Center has become a national leader in promoting an integrative approach to social inequality.
