Permanent Links
Permanent Links (also known as "Permalinks") are strongly encouraged to make library resources accessible for students! They are essential to use for a number of reasons:
- They are easily accessible anywhere (off-campus, on mobile phones, etc.)
- Vendors need to know if, and how often, resources are being used (this ensures that we keep your favorite stuff!)
- Using permanent links ensures copyright compliance
- They are affordable.
- Consider using permanent links to electronic resources instead of physical textbooks. It is much cheaper for students, and University Libraries has already purchased them!
