African American Communities - Video Guide
The African American Communities database offers a diverse range of primary source material on race relations across social, political, and cultural arenas. Focusing on Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, New York, and North Carolina, the collection explores racism, discrimination, desegregation, urban renewal and housing, civil rights movements and protests, community integration and expressions of unique African American culture conveyed through the work of artists, writers, actors, and musicians.
