The purpose of this research guide is to:

provide local and national context to the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and to activism for racial justice more generally.
offer relevant academic, university, and community support to those interested in learning more about racial inequality historically and how that impacts contemporary life and thought.
inform the important and serious interest in contemporary activism surrounding these topics.
