*All in-person CWC consultations have been suspended for the duration of the Spring 2020 semester.
Starting Mon., 3/23, all CWC consultants will transition to online consulting.
To make an online appointment with the CWC, go to the Upswing tutoring platform and log in with your UofM ID and password.
Choose “Meet with a tutor.”
Type “writing” into the search bar, scroll to the bottom of the dropdown menu, and hit enter.
On the subsequent page, the consultants who appear will be UofM CWC consultants.
Select a consultant’s “schedule” to determine when they are available and select a time from that schedule accordingly.
Appointments are available in 1-hour and ½-hour increments. Please make sure to select your desired length of time.
You have the option to upload your assignment sheet and/or your written document at the time you make your appointment. You also have the option to upload these documents at the beginning of your consultation.
Please be aware that consultants will not typically review your writing prior to your appointment.
You will receive an automated email confirmation once you have made your appointment.
At the time of your scheduled appointment, you will need to long into Upswing to meet with your consultant in real time to discuss your writing.
