Writing your with Write-N-Cite for Word:

With Write-N-Cite for Word you can easily add in-text citations, footnotes, and your bibliography to your document with the click of a button from your RefWorks account. If you are a windows user, Write-N-Cite is compatible with Word 2008 - 2016. If you are a MAC user, Write-N-Cite is compatible with Word for Mac 2008 and 2011. Mac users will have to use a new RefWorks Citation Manager ad in (see below video), for Office 2016, which is also compatible with Word 2016 for windows. 

Note:   Documents created in the old RefWorks interface are not compatible with the new RefWorks interface. Users may create new documents with the new interface using Write-N-Cite, but they cannot continue to work on documents created in the old interface.

  1. Select tools under the three dots. 
  2. Click on the "Download & install" button for the correct version of Word and follow the prompts.
