What's in the audio studio?

No instruments permitted; voice recording only. If you're looking to record music, check out microphones and audio recorders to take out of the library. If library staff receive noise complaints from your recording session, you may not be permitted to use the space.

In Studio:

  • Network desktop with Pro Tools, Audacity, Adobe Creative Suite
  • 2 Rode NT1A studio microphones with popshields
  • 2 Tonor studio microphones with popshields
  • 4 sets of over-the-ear studio headphones
  • Four channel stereo headphone amplifier

Check out additional technology. We recommend lapel mic, condenser mic.

How can I use the audio studio?

You'll need to go through a quick orientation to be approved to use the Audio Studio. Once you successfully complete the orientation, it may take up to 48 hours for you to be approved in the system to reserve the Audio Studio.
